Vigiles Enhancements Make SBOM Management Easy and Provide License Information at Your Fingertips
Knowing exactly what is in your product software is key to efficiently managing the security of your embedded system products using third-party components, including Linux and open source components.
Vigiles provides the industry’s only Advanced Software Composition Analysis (SCA) tools and CVE mitigation optimized for embedded open source. Vigiles makes it easier for you to understand exactly the version and license type for each third-party component used in your product, the vulnerabilities that pertain to each, what has changed since your last vulnerability scan, and how to mitigate the CVEs. Vigiles delivers vulnerability tracking that is less prone to false positives and CVE misses.
Now, the latest enhancements to Timesys’ Vigiles will enable your team to efficiently deal with CVEs.
- Software Bill of Material (SBOM)/manifest management
- License information for Yocto SBOM
- Buildroot integration expands the existing build system (Yocto, Timesys Factory) support
- U-Boot configuration filter
- CVSS score assignment
- Enhanced sharing and collaboration including
- SBOM and vulnerability report comparison
